Welcome!

Hello everyone! I decided to start a blog to do some posting about natural hair as well as beauty and fashion. I just really enjoy everything that relates to being a girly girl..lol. My natural hair journey began on March 11, 2010 when I decided that would be my last relaxer! It was a decision that I had to first prepare my mind for and next figure out exactly where I was actually going with this journey. My decision became easier after being a broke continuing education student, my stylist resigning and also my hair becoming damaged. I wore a lot of half wigs during that time but failed to take care of my relaxed hair. I spoke with one of my good friends who has a beautiful head of natural hair and she told me that she hadnt found a good stylest after moving from one state to another and had just decided to go natural.

I figured this was the best move for me since I would be able to better take care of my hair. I grew my hair out for approximately 10 months. I big chopped on Jan 6, 2011. I am currently as of today 1 yr and 7 months natural and well on my way to my 2nd year. Hopefully I can inspire some of you to take the plunge and go on your own natural journey and feel confident with your decision. I am all about healthy hair whether chemically or nonchemically treated, but I am #teamnatural...lol. We all have to make the proper decisions for ourselves and do what makes us feel good and be happy. Hopefully you guys will enjoy some of my product reviews and tips and tricks along the way. I am in the process of reviewing a product as I write this but I also have to get another computer so that I can posts pics :-( (my old faithful died on me).
